Hello!! Happy Veterans Day!

Thanks for those of you who showed up to the Oakland Blood Center tour! I hope you found it interesting and insightful (: If you would like the e-mail of Justin to ask further questions, who showed us around with Maxine, please feel free to ask me.

1. November Blood Drive - Nov. 14 at MLK West Pauley Ballroom
It's our second to last blood drive! If you haven't gotten your 10 hours yet, this is a good chance to. Get the word out there, and make this blood drive as successful as all of the blood drives we've held this semester!
We still have some open spaces for tabling and canteening. Fill up those empty spaces! You might want to try wearing Buddy on the day of the drive (It's tons of fun!)

2. Bowling Social - Nov. 15, 9:30PM (tentative) at Albany Bowl
Our last club social!! We will be bowling at Albany Bowl and taking the bus there (don't forget your bus pass!). Prices will be subsidized for members. If you plan on attending PLEASE E-MAIL MILAP at mrakholia@gmail.com. If not enough people respond, it will be cancelled! This is a really fun social, so come out if you can! (:

3. LAST General Meeting - Nov. 19, 7-8PM at 60 Evans
Our last general meeting! This is especially important if you have not gotten your dues or your forms paid yet and you want to attend the banquet at the end of the semester! We will also be giving out information on applications for becoming interns (like us!) as well as summer internship opportunities at the American Red Cross Oakland Chapter. Please be sure to attend! There will also be free food!

That's all for now! We will NOT have a committee meeting on November 21 due to Thanksgiving, but may have one during dead week (not sure about this one yet). Hopefully the last committee meeting wasn't the last! We will most likely hold another committee social after the blood drive, so be on the lookout!!
