The American Red Cross @ Cal invites you to participate in the Great Shakeout, a nationwide earthquake drill that aims to raise awareness about disaster preparedness.
Knowing Berkeley, you can expect them to take a boring earthquake drill and add in a twist!
Inspired by Improv Everywhere and their famous MP3 Experiment Flash Mobs, Red Cross wants to host their own 11 minute MP3 experiment.
All you need is to sync your watches to an atomic clock such as this one:
http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Pacific%2Fd%2F-8%2Fjavaand download the MP3 given below onto your MP3 player.

Then, at exactly 11 AM, hit play and follow the instructions of our omnipotent voice, Buddy, who is also our blood drop mascot! Be sure not to listen to the MP3 beforehand!
I apologize in advance if it's hard to hear some tings and would recommend you put it on a relatively higher volume. (But not high enough to blast out your eardrums please).
It will be on Sproul Plaza and preferably between Sproul Hall and the fountain by GBC.
Feel free to ask questions!
