I wanted to follow-up with you about the emails we (ARCBA Youth
Services) have been sending about the Summer Internship Program.
The Summer Internship program is a great way to get involved with the
Chapter this summer, and I wanted to reach out to you because we have
some excellent intern positions open in the Red Cross Oakland Office!
(3901 Broadway Avenue Oakland, CA 94611) Each of the available
internships is a wonderful opportunity for you and/or your club members
learn more about the American Red Cross and gain valuable work skills
and leadership experience. The Summer Internship Program begins June
21st, 2010 and ends August 13th, 2010. All internships have a commitment
of at least 15 hours per week and are unpaid. Scheduling is flexible.
Could you be sure to pass along the information about this opportunity
to the rest of your club? Please notify your club members of this
information, print the attached flyers & application, and bring them to
your next meeting to discuss the program.
The application deadline is rapidly approaching, so please act fast and
get this information out to your club (if you haven't already)!
Applications are due Friday, April 23rd!
