[ARC@Cal] Who Likes Cake?

American Red Cross at Cal members,
Anyone out there enjoy making delicious pastries (and eating them as well)? If you do, come out to American Red Cross @ Cal's baking session for Ace of Cakes and the event itself! Make sure to contact Michelle at michelle.carney@berkeley.edu to tell us if you are coming! There are also tons of other events going on this week as well, but keep in mind again that the Information Session by ARC@Cal and ULAP on Thursday at 7:30 pm in 79 Dwinelle is the only one that you can get hours to fulfill your requirement for.

World Water Week
Cal Service Network is hosting World Water Week, a project aimed at focusing attention on the importance of advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. If your group is interested in hosting any type of even or collaborating on an event, please email Michelle Carney at michelle.carney@berkeley.edu.

WEDNESDAY (3/14) - Circle K - Pledge Session- Time: 7pm, Location: Dwinelle
Next Wednesday at 7pm at their Projects Committee Meeting (room in Dwinelle varies) will be having a pledge session to not buy any liquids in bottle form for a month with the money that would have otherwise been spent on these drinks going to a charity that helps with the worldwide water crisis.

THURSDAY (3/15) - American Red Cross / ULAP - Info Sesh and Performance - Time: 7:30pm, Location: Dwinelle 079
Come join ARC@Cal's International Committee and Universal Love and Peace this Thursday at 7:30pm in Dwinelle 079 for an exciting performance and informative discussion on the topic of Food and Water Security, and how you can help!

SATURDAY (3/17)- Baking for Circle K Ace of Cakes - Time 2:30 pm, Location: Unit 2 Wada
We will be baking our entry for Circle K's Ace of Cakes at Salman and Milap's apartment at around 2:30pm in Unit 2 Wada on Saturday (3/17).  If you're interested in eating making our cupcake cake, email Michelle at michelle.carney@berkeley.edu!

SATURDAY (3/17)- Circle K Ace of Cakes - Time: 7-9pm, Location: Tan Oak Room
Ace of Cakes features campus clubs competing in a cake-baking competition. Attendees will pay $4 to attend, vote for their favorite cake and participate in activities like cupcake decorating. All organizations will get some time to publicize and must pay $15 to enter (or $18 after today). The winning clubs will split the money gathered from entrance fees proportionate to their place to donate to their charity of choice.
