Museum Carnival Volunteer

Volunteers at Playland-Not-at-the-Beach run the carnival games and coach the kids on winning. Part of the fun is also awarding the prizes. We adjust the rules according to the skill levels of the guests, so that everybody is challenged but no one walks away feeling frustrated or defeated.

Everyone is welcome to volunteer! But there is an 8 person limit per shift, so sign up on the website early!

Morning: 10-2
Afternoon: 1-5
Full day: 10-5

Meet at Shattuck Square and Center Street bus stop to take the 18 (remember your ID!). That's right across the street from the Downtown Berkeley BART station. We will then be transferring to 72 or 72M. The morning shift and full day shift will meet at the bus stop BY 9:15 a.m. (bus comes at 9:20) and the afternoon shift will meet there BY 12:00 p.m. (bus comes at 12:05).

Bring a bag lunch if you'd like, or there is also Wienerschnitzel nearby.
