Hey Red Cross people,
It is getting cold again. You know what we need for that? Ice, ice everywhere. Another social at the Oakland Ice Rink: Broomball.
What is that? It is a game on the ice with your shoes, a stick, and a ball. Two teams, two goals at the ends. Hit ball into goal. Simple.
Cost:$5 for broomball if you paid dues (Normally $12). Please bring enough for dinner (optional) and the BART ride ($3.50 round trip). Oh, try to pay the $5 to your nearest officer if you meet them before Saturday.
Dinner: Ichiban @ 2017 Shattuck Avenue
We will first go eat dinner at the Ichiban Japanese Restaurant, so be there at 7pm. Then we will catch BART to the Oakland Ice Rink. No dinner? Please meet just outside the BART dome by 8:35pm. Train leaves 8:48pm.
