Hello CAL Red Cross Club!
I am a colleague of Emily Christian’s at the American Red Cross Bay Area. I wanted to offer you all a preparedness instructor workshop that will incorporate several of your lines of service, involve you with youth, and allow you to get out into the community. The First Aid and Preparedness (FAP) Train-the-Trainer workshop will allow you and your club members to be trained as presenters in FAP for the youth community.
The training is three hours and includes a review of FAP fundamentals, tips on teaching to youth audiences, and a teach-back session for some teaching practice time and positive critique. You would also receive a FREE First Aid voucher for an American Red Cross certification course (a $50 value)!
I would like to schedule the training during the evening on the Tuesday or Thursday [during] the week of [...] May 24. We would like to run the training for as few as 10 and as many as 20 of your members. I understand that finals are coming up, so please let me know if there are any other dates that would work better for you.
