American Red Cross at Cal,
Hopefully everyone is safe and well after the 4.0 earthquake on Monday and the fire on Dwight and Ellsworth on Thursday. Looking to become more prepared for disasters such as these? American Red Cross at Cal can help! Pressed for time but still want to know updates? Scroll to the bottom for quick summaries of the events.

Be Red Cross Ready Courses
BERKELEY COMMUNITY: Disasters can strike at any time -- in this past week alone we have had 2 major disasters. Have you thought about what you would do if your home was on fire or if there was a major earthquake? The American Red Cross at Cal Club can help! We offer FREE "Be Red Cross Ready" courses where we teach you how to prepare for a disaster - and best of all, we can come to YOU! If you are interested in hosting an event for your club, or attending one of our courses, email Michelle at michelle.carney@berkeley.edu.

Broomball
Picture hockey with sneakers, the occasional slip (or seven) and a great way to break the ice (hopefully not the one we'll be standing on!) with fellow American Red Cross at Cal members. Come out and bring your friends!

The cost is $5 for dues paid members ($12 regular) that can be paid to any officer. If you can come to dinner beforehand at 7 pm at Ichiban Japanese Restaurant at 2017 Shattuck Avenue please also bring money for dinner.

If you would just like to come to broomball please meet outside the BART dome by 8:35 pm since the train we will be taking to the Oakland Ice Rink leaves at 8:48 pm. Round trip cost is $3.50.

LAST General Meeting
Come out to our last general meeting of the semester! On Thursday April 5th at 7 pm IN 2040 VLSB we will have many updates about opportunities to get more involved with American Red Cross at Cal and how to be more prepared for disasters. Keep in mind that volunteer forms and dues are due ON THIS DAY without which you cannot attend the volunteer banquet.
