THURSDAY 2/20- First Be Red Cross Ready Course of the semester!
It's that special monthly opportunity again! Come get prepared with us at the upcoming Be Red Cross Ready presentation by the American Red Cross @ Cal!
We will be teaching you the essentials for disaster preparedness, from making emergency plans to preparing disaster packs and supplies to basic earthquake and fire survival skills. This training is a greater refresher for disaster preparedness and an invaluable course for life saving skills! Bring your roommates, friends, and family to our FREE Be Red Cross Ready training! Our upcoming training will be Thursday, February 20th with the location to be announced. Free admission to the general public. See you there

WEDNESDAY 2/12, 6-7 PM Board Game Night with the Blood Committee
Location: Dwinelle Steps (a coordinator/intern will be there to direct you!)
Bring your favorite games and have some fun! Come out and bond with all of the amazing blood committee members and make some new friends. There will be snacks!

THURSDAY 2/13 H&S Committee Meeting, 136 Barrows, 6-7 PM - Learn how to teach citizen (hands-only) CPR and get ready to prepare the community. We’re going to be teaching this skill to the fraternities and sororities NEXT WEEK! Gain one hour for just showing up!

MONDAY 2/17 Training Citizen CPR at Sigma Phi Epsilon, 7 PM - For those trained at our 2/13 committee meeting in hands-only CPR, come out into the community and teach this basic life-saving skill!

FRIDAY 2/14 6-7PM Train the Trainer - Our first TTT course will be held this Friday, from 6-7PM. If you would like to help teach Be Red Cross Ready, you need to take this course!

***SAVE THE DATE: Berkeley Poverty & Homelessness Symposium**
-March 3rd - 7th : a week of speakers, workshops, & performances that address issues of poverty & structural inequity. Come out for FREE food on Monday & stay for all the great events throughout the week around poverty as it relates to disaster preparedness, economics, gender inequality, and MORE!
